Culture in Webs: Working in Hypermedia with the Documentary Image (06 Feb 2004)
Although Culture in Webs is a hypertext with images and videos, there's much here that could be conveyed via a good old text essay. Indeed, Coover structures the hypertext as three long essay pieces, with the interactivity limited to the occasional pop-up video. But as the three-part structure proceeds, it becomes less textual and more hypertextual, as if Coover has chosen to slowly draw his readers into the world of hypertext.
