Frode is an Honorary Research Fellow at University College London, and runs the Cynapse Research Project into Human Computer Interaction; working towards some of the life-long goals of the largely under-credited inventor / technology visionary Dr. Douglas C. Engelbart.

The aim of Cynapse is to make all text on the web interactive, providing extensive options for, and links away from any word in a passage of text. This enables the user to view words exactly how they like, in a context relevant to them, rather than how the page author dictated the words should be read.
