I am available in the following media to the following people." And, of course, depending on who the people are you may have different willingness to be available in different modalities. Some people you accept phone calls from. Others you'll send off to voicemail or to universal e-mail. Some calls may go over to you on your pager and you're able to decide what you want to do with it, and so on. This idea of presence is becoming very powerful indeed, and it's embedded in the software at the edges of the Net. Anyway, those are all changes that are happening to the technology of communication. And those changes are having a pretty dramatic effect on the economics of the telecommunications world.
